Therapeutic Garden Consults
Perfect for someone special who is looking to downsize in the garden or adapt to physical changes
Get the outdoor season off to a good start with a guided opportunity to explore the aspects of gardening that bring your loved one the greatest pleasure and those they could do without as they experience life changes. Rather than having to give up doing what they love, I’ll help them make a manageable plan to get the most out of any garden space, even a balcony. I’ll show them how to accentuate the healing elements in their garden and create a mindful gardening practice to support their health and well-being. We can explore whether adaptive tools, raised beds, or containers are right for your loved one. I can also provide tips on communicating their wishes to garden service providers and/or friends and family looking to help out.
Duration: 2-hour in-home consultation
Price: $225, includes a post-visit customized list of recommendations. An hourly rate is available for add-on sessions or a supported visit to a garden centre. Therapeutic gardening opportunities are also provided through the Creative Companionship service.
